Is your child ready to potty train?

To know if your child is ready, please answer the following questions:

1. Can your child walk to and sit on the toilet or potty?

2. Does your child seem interested in the potty by watching you?

3. Can your child understand and follow basic instructions, such as "go get the toy"?

4. Can your child make simple requests like ask for a drink?

5. Can your child communicate two-word sentences?

6. Has regular and predictable bowel movements? Your child might go into another room or hide behind furniture.

7. Can your child climb the stairs?

8. Can your child assert his independence such as saying "NO!"?

If you've answered yes to those questions, your child is ready.
